Please Help?

I am in this advanced math program at school and I work apart from the rest of my class. I'm in seventh grade and I've already started ninth grade math. I have the same math teacher as everyone else, I just print worksheets and tests of the computer to take. In the program on the computer, a teacher has to assign students things to do. To make things easier, my teacher just told me the password for the program so I can assign myself stuff. The program also allows me to look at everyone else's grades. (not that I would do that. I SWEAR!) So today at lunch I made a joke to some friends about how I could just change their grades on the computer. Ofcourse, now everyone think that my teacher is like in love with me or something and I'm cheating to get good grades. I realize I shouldn't have made that stupid joke, but now quite a few people are mad at me. How do I go about fixing this situation?Please Help?
Sounds like you know it was stupid. Just try to make them realize by living your life and showing them that you are not the type of person who would do that. This time will pass the important thing is that you learned not to say stupid stuff, and that things are harder to fix afterwards. Next year, they will have forgotten, and this is a chance to learn from your mistakes. If they ask you about tell them the truth, tell them what you told us, they should be mature enough to handle it.Please Help?
Probably tell them it was a lie, you can't really do it, you was just winding them up to see their reaction, ask them ';Do you REALLY think I would get the password to see all of THAT?';

You may do some damage limitation that way, be prepared to make yourself look like a fool, that most people can believe (although obviously it is not true- but hey!! you want them to believe that of you)
Just ignore the taunts and say you made a mistake and are unable to see their grades, then just let your teacher know what she/he has done by giving you the password (i.e you can see all information) after all you are still only a child even though you know right from wrong! sometimes we do stupid things. I suggest you read the poem IF by Rudyard Kipling Good luck
Your friends should know you well enough to know how hard you work. Things will all blow over eventually. Every little group has there drama from time to time. Probably wouldn't be to smart to bring it up again though.
