How many days notice should a professor get...?

if a student sends them an email to meet up with them during office hours.

I need to see my professor and I want to send him an email to talk to him tomorrow during his office hours. Is one day notice enough time?

Also, he was supposed to change the grade that he had given me last semester, but the registrar (transcript) office has not received any notice from him? He's kind of of intimidating how do I tell him that they never recevied notice on any grade change without making it seem like he lied about changing my grade to the grade that I should have gotten. He gave me a B and I earned an A.How many days notice should a professor get...?
If it is during his regular office hours, yes, one day should be fine since he will presumably be there anyway.

It's easy not to make it sound like he lied. Are you assuming he lied? Don't. There's absolutely no reason for him to lie about that, it makes no sense. If he made a mistake in submitting your grade, you pointed it out, and he said he would fix it, then either he forgot, someone else forgot (e.g. if he asked the secretary to do it for him) or there was an error on the registrar's side. If he wanted your grade to stay a B, he would've simply said, ';No, your grade is a B, and here's why...'; So just remind him of the earlier conversation where he agreed to correct the grade, tell him that you checked and it's still a B, so you wanted to see whether he had submitted the grade change yet. If he says he did, ask if he can contact them again to straighten it out.
