I Got ';C'; grade in a college, how can I fix it ?

Hi, I'm a student in a Santa Monica college and I got a C for an Easy class which I could get an A easily if I had a better instructor, my question is that how can I change that grade because it has 3 units transferable for University and I dont want to ruin my credit for only an easy class ...

Please tell me what should i do ?

the easy answer is, yes, by all means retake the class. the long answer is that there might be a chance that ucla might not even recognize the class and won't be transferred over anyway. you should contact ucla admissions and ask them directly which of the college courses you have already taken are transferable and which are not. if they are not they will not be factored into your overall gpa at ucla. thus, even though you might have had a low gpa at santa monica, you could have a high gpa at ucla.I Got ';C'; grade in a college, how can I fix it ?

Yes, you can retake it, but depending on the JC you go to, they might not replace it so both grades will be on the transcripts when you send it out to UCLA.



Don't worry, I got C's before and still got into grad school.
