How to get 20% salary increase every year?

I am wondering if it's possible to have 20%+ increase p/a in IT positions continuously(say, at least 5 years in a row) (not talking about a one off increase like pay grade change or switch jobs---unless you can manage to switch jobs or get promoted every year)

I know it's a bit crazy, but it's not impossible I believe.

If you have certain answers or you have direct experiences of this high increase, then please advice where these kind of jobs exist and what are the skills and requirements for these jobs, such as the fields in IT(ie. software dev or DBA or testing or ...), the industry(ie. mining or defense or retail or medical or..), the job titles, the company cultures, the total weekly work hours, the education level required, the people skills required, the intelligent level(IQ) required, the risk taking abilities etc...

If you think it's impossible in IT industry, then in what professions, under what circumstances do you think or you have experienced this high increase in salary?

Thank you very muchHow to get 20% salary increase every year?
it is possible, if you work for a successful company,AND if you are not only good at your job, but good at seeing things that need to be done before they negatively impact your departmentHow to get 20% salary increase every year?
Be a whore, it works
Just impossible if you are only a office clerk of a company, unless you hold shares, and the company develop steadily and quickly.

Another way to increase your earning is set up your ownbusiness and run it carefully and working hard.
Job performance.

You just have to be a whiz kid.

For what other reason would someone raise your pay that much? Unless you married the boss' daughter?

Or, maybe, put in 25% more time...
I don't think you can get that anywhere except maybe self employment.

And then only if you are really good.
