I want to change my first name back!?

Well I when I was in 2nd grade I changed the spelling of my name because no one could pronounce the other spelling. SO now that I'm getting older I want to change it back (I'm thirteen and want to change it back on my 14th b-day which is in March)?

How can I do that/ How can change it back?I want to change my first name back!?
If you didn't have it changed legally, just go back to the original spelling. If it was changed legally you need to file a request with the court for a name change.I want to change my first name back!?
girl when you find out please tell me lol

i want to get rid of 1 or 2 names
If you never changed it LEGALLY, you can just start writing it the original way whenever you want to. For example, my brother's name is Aaron, but he goes by his middle name and he'll just change it up at will. To some people he goes by his first name, to some, his middle name. Easy as that...
If you didn't have it changed legally through the courts, then it was never officially changed. If it was changed through the courts, then you would need to go back to have it changed back.
What, did you have it changed legally? If no then just change it back, if you did legally change the spelling , you'd go about it in the same way.....Good Luck!
You need to do the following, if you have changed the spelling on your birth certificate ONLY:

______________________________________?br>

1) You need your parents approval and assistance being that you are still a minor.

2) You will need your current birth certificate and social security number.

3) You will need to contact your local Attorney General and/or Lieutenant Governors Office. Complete all paperwork needed.

4) Place a public notice in your local newspaper about your name change. THATS IT GOOD LUCK!
I don't think that what you did in second grade is legally binding.

Unless you legally changed it on your birth certificate, you would have to change it back anyway when you get a driver's license. Just start spelling it the right way and use the other for a nic-name. Eventually, you will need to use the ';official'; spelling for legal documents...best decide which is which before a conflict arises.

P.S. If you are only 14 you have not signed a legally binding document yet, but it might be a good idea to have the Principal's secretary check to be sure it is the way you want on your school records.
just start using it again.
