Usually 1 or 1 1/2 grades below the real exams. obviously teachers say if you sit back now until the exams and doss then it won't happen; people do go down as well. Though I did doss and most of mine did go up a grade (except some A* I got in the mock, which didn't move). If you revise though you should easily expect to rise a grade. As your mock grades are mainly a then you should be looking at having a/a*s in your actual test. Don't assume your C will only be a B though, you can easily get it up into the A, just apply yourself to that subject a bit more in your revision.

As for my grades, can't really remember, some a, a* and b grades aswell as a c I think. In the actual exams they were nearly all higher, with the lowest a b. You still have more teaching between now and the test, and will apply yourself more to the actual test, so thats why your grades will rise. How do your mock results compare to your actual GCSE results?
they're well different
I got one mark below my mock mark in every subject except Geography which was 2 marks below.
mine were genrally the same, but just because thats what you got in your mocks doesnt neccesserily mean that is what u will get in your actual exams, keep up the revision and hard work youll need to believe me! and they should go up or stay relatively the same, good luck!
Sounds like you are going to do pretty well your exams.

It really depends on how much you studies for your mocks and how much you will study for the real things.

Mine mock results were much worse than the real results (I got a fail for my german mock and got a B in the end!) But this was a few years ago.

If you did a little bit more studying you could probably bump up the ones where you didn't get A's to maybe a B or even an A.

Seems like you're going to do brilliantly! Definitely possible for you to get A's or B's in everything with a bit of work.
Hi

I didn't revise for my mocks, so got As and Bs. In my real GCSEs I got 10 As and A*s. :)

Good luck with yours.
mine were generally the same but tbf i didnt do much to improve them lol. It's up to you to put in the extra effort if you want to improve yours and if you do i suppose you could go up by a couple of grades so long as you have good revision notes
It is all down to you.

Mock results are exactly that - mocks/fakes.

Only YOU can decide what you get in your final exam, and that is by a hell of a lot of hard work. You put in effort, you get the grades.

My mock results were:

Maths C

English B

Science A*

Geography A*

Drama A*

Childcare A

Health + Social Care B

French A*

But, I thought I was all clever seen as I had came out with A*'s and unfortunately I got a disappointment in August 2006!

My real GCSE results were:

Maths B

English C

Science A

Geography A*

Drama A*

Childcare A

Health + Social Care C

French B

So I still did well, but I had dropped grades since the mock exams. Make that a lesson learnt. You've done great in your mocks, and I'm sure you revised well - Keep it up, otherwise you will NOT get those A's in August!
dont worry about it, it seems you've done quite well in your mocks.

being from scotland i did highers but my grades changed quite a lot in the few months. i got c's for english physics and chemistry in the mocks and for the real thing i got 2 a's and a b plus the a in art which stayed the same!

as long as you study regularly you'll do great! (tho i cant say i did much lol!)
subject/ mock/ realthing

maths b a

eng lit c a*

eng lang d a

science a a* a*

re c c

media b a

geog b a

p.e c c

it merit distinction

french a* a*

german b b

so got better but did revise as much for the mocks as i did the realthing lol
You know, you can do really well in your Mocks but then go downhill when it comes to the real thing and vice versa, and just because you get the top marks in Mocks it doesn't mean you will later on, so my advice is to just keep revising and to improve on what you already have.
