Teacher promised to raise grade for extra assignment but 16 days later nothing. How long should i wait before?

contacting the guy? As in how long does the grade change process take? I definitely went above and beyond what he asked me to do so i can't see that being an issue, does it happen often that they forget or that some kinda problem occurs?

If i were you, i would want to check with the teacher to see if he will REALLY add in the assignment. There have been many times where i have ignored it and teachers don't add the grade in unless you speak up. However, if you decide to ask soon, be sure to be polite, but serious at the same time
