Almost a year ago I had a pap that came back with a 'slight change'. I went for a colposcopy %26amp; biopsy a month ago and they said that my changes are now high grade and I need to have a LEEP procedure done on the 6th of October. This is the second time. It's making me nervous...are my chances of getting cervical cancer high? How many times will they have to do this Leep procedure (an how many times CAN they)? I have had LEEP done once but I asked the doctor how many times could I have it done and he told me 1 of his patients has had it done 4 times. So you're fine. Hope it goes ok xNeed advice - high grade change on Pap?
A friend had this same problem. She was OK after the procedure, but the doctor said that she had to be monitored carefully. She has been OK for ten years.
