Have you ever got a grade changed for you child?

Man i am good! I have a son in 1st grade. He came home with a spelling test with a 40 F. I started looking at it and I was confused because the works looked spelled right to me. Maybe a letter or two backwards or something but they were right. I wrote a note to the teacher explaining how i felt and he changed the grade to 90 A and wrote a note saying he was sorry, he just couldnt read it untill i said that and then he looked harder.

I was so happy i stuck it in his school memories book to look at when he get's older.Have you ever got a grade changed for you child?
thats good but you should be aware of the fact he is spelling things backwards so keep an eye on thatHave you ever got a grade changed for you child?
my mom has told a teacher off once b4 when the teacher kept giving me dhall for no reason and then i wouldnt go so i didnt get in trouble so not actually just telling a teacher off
maybe instead of patting yourself on the back you should look into the letters being backwards. i think it is called dyslexia.
Yes. This is a definite. I am proud of you. I ';wish'; that everyone had a strong sense of caring about their children. The world is still missing that important element. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.
6 year olds can have dyslexia. If you can see something, you can see it in a dyslexic way.
I think you did the right thing........ sometimes teachers get in a rush, and don't always pay attention....... it's important for parents to go that extra mile for their children, this really wasn't a significant grade change, it was a correction , or fixing the teachers lazy eye?... hehehehe

Keep up the good work mom

hugs and blessings

last year my daughter who was in 4th grade had a lot of trouble in spelling. we had studied real hard for one test and I told her if she brought home an A I would give her $1.00 that Friday she came home upset because she had got a B+ she had missed 2 words then when I looked at it one of the words was spelled correct. So I told here to take it to her teacher on Monday. when she showed her teacher he said it was to late and that he could not fix her grade so I went in that afternoon and talked to him and told him that the word was correct and he said that a parent helper had corrected the paper and must have missed it. so he changed her grade to an A- so she got her $1.00. And it showed her that she can stick up for herself and if I need to I will be there for her. And it showed the teacher that some parents do pay attention.
You go, girl! See all that practice changing F's to B's when you were in school, really paid off!
