Best way to change a grade?

I believe that the grade I received in a certain class was not a fair indicator of the work I put studying for it... Our teacher randomly assigned grades based on his perception of our abilities... How should I go about getting the grade changed??Best way to change a grade?
It would be important to know what level you are talking about as far as the education is concerned. In high school, if you have talked to the teacher and the grade still seems random or not based on quantifiable information then by all means go to the principal and present your concerns. Make sure that you have your facts straight and supporting information-are there other students who feel the same way. Follow the grievance procedure if it is a real concern.

If you are in college then the scoring should have been given to you at the very beginning on the syllabus. If the grading procedure was followed then you do not have much standing-but if the grading procedure was not followed bring it to the attention of the dean or chairman of that department.

Remember though with both of these solutions there could be ramifications if you have to have the same teacher again. Is it worth that possibly happening? Good luck and do not let this get you down, while grades are important it is the act of acquiring knowledge that is where the true learning comes in and if you learned then celebrate that!Best way to change a grade?
I would go and ask the teacher why did I get this grade and is there anything that I can do to change it? If you ask him for extra credit your teacher will think that you care about your grades.
