Changing grades? i need to convince a teacher to help me...?

my boyfriend has just been told that his gpa doesn't meet the requirements to stay in the track and field team, and the season is close to and end, we are seniors, and he is one of the best runners on the team, but with the grades that he got, he can't stay on the team. Our coach told him that he should talk to the teachers to try to work out a deal, but the teachers that he has are those kind of teachers that the grade they give out is final. The grades are our midterm grades, you can say, and they are not final, but since its half way, the school takes it seriously and without the gpa requirements, he can't participate in any extra curricular activities. I want to try to convince his teachers to boost up his grades just for this report card, but I don't know what to tell them. I mostly want to talk to his Calculus teacher, because my boyfriend is taking AP Calculus AB, and I am taking AP Calculus BC, so I'm thinking of telling his teacher that I will tutor him as much as possible, but I don't know what to do for his AP Physics C class... I need ideas on how to convince them, whether it may be extra credit, or a deal of tutoring or something. Help me please! Today we have a track meet, and I don't know if my boyfriend will be able to compete, and I want him to be able to stay in the team, because I know that he has what it takes to make it to City Prelims. Help me please, I want to talk to them as soon as possible. Thank you!Changing grades? i need to convince a teacher to help me...?
Have your bf talk to the teacher and offer to do some extra work. Write a 10 page paper if he has to. Just say that he will do anything to help improve his grade and explain that it is his senior year. Dont even mention how good he is and how much the team needs him that just sounds self centered. Just be desperate.Changing grades? i need to convince a teacher to help me...?
Extra credit.

That's a load of bull crap to ask your teacher to boost up his grades only for one report card.

everyone's grades should be boosted.

you don't have to approach the teacher for tutoring. you do it on your own if you want.
Maybe u can help him out...Like help him do his homework everyday make sure he studies for tests. U could maybe try and talk to his teachers and ask them if would help if there were a tutor possible. Maybe u need to give him confidence and help with school work.
well dang.

he's already got 2 AP classes... how many more?

the gpa requirement should be variable according to how many advanced classes.

especially AP classes.
if he kept his grades up he wouldn't be in this predicament. its not your job to beg teachers to give him a free ride, he has to deal with it.
pick the nicest teacher he has, make up some crap sobstory, and maybe itll work.
It's not your job to beg for your boyfriends grades. If he was serious about running then he would have been on top of things.

If he can't compete, it's not the end of the world. A few years from now you'll look back on this and say why did I try to help that jerk.

He needs to learn to do things on his own. Quit taking care of him.
have him talk to the teacher calmly and don't just beg her.

explain that he is concerned about his grade and he would like to try to work out a way to make it improve. he should ask her for help next semester and say that you are going to tutor him to make sure that he can bring his grade up. promise to work very hard and show her that the class is important to you. then ask if it is possible to raise your grade enough to allow you to continue to play sports. show that you are willing to do any extra work and make an agreement to have a high grade next semester.

good luck.
extra credit is usually the best answer... but not all the teachers give extra credit... but my friend was actually in kind of the same situation... she talked to her teachers and promised them that she will boost her grade up in 2 weeks (yah see the problem here was the grades were due that week)... she promised to get as much tutoring as she can... and they trusted her enough to let her...
