If I have a B in my english class, what do I need to get on the final to get an A for the semester?

I have an 83.49% unweighted right now and I took the final this past friday, on the 21st. My professor has not entered the weighted gpa yet for all grades, and has not entered grades for the final. Which was an in class essay. So I am really wanting an A for the semester, if I get an A or a B. How will those grades change my current grade 83.49%??? please help thank you=)If I have a B in my english class, what do I need to get on the final to get an A for the semester?
We can't tell you that without knowing how much of your grade the final was worth. At this point, since you basically have a B, an A on the final has a chance of raising your grade, but by how much depends on how significant the final was. If your final was worth 50% of the grade for the class, it would have a major impact, and you could end up with a B+, or possibly even an A-. If it was worth 5%, it wouldn't change anything.
