How to make professor change grade?

ok so i took this statistics course back in the fall 07. So i ended up wih a d- since the final i got a low mark on and as well as the midterm. The homework i got an a and the spss i got a b+ but the midterm was take home and so i was so confuse since my class was told not to write anything said exactly on the text. The final i bombed since i was full of anxiety. I don't know how to email the professor since its; been a year not contacting her. I need this course for my major since it's forensic psychology and i am now taking another course to make up for it and so far i got an a avergae but would like for her to reconsider changing my d- to at least a c+ or b somehow by making up for the final or midterm to..... how can i email her can someone offer me help i want to go to grad school and this will look bad enough! How to make professor change grade?
I'm a Professor. To change a grade I would have to go before a committee and explain why. Probably the only reason to change a grade would be grade miscalculation. But as others have told you, it's a bit too late even for that reason! How to make professor change grade?
In all honesty, you're going to have to retake this course if you want a better grade. You've let a year go by without approaching the professor, and you failed to do the work that the professor was using to develop the grades.

If you want to try, write a letter explaining how you learned a lot in her class, but were not able to take the exams well due to whatever circumstances.
1) It was Fall 07, no one can change your grade after it's on the record

2) There is no such mark as D-. It goes from D to F. Your professor was obviously trying to insult you and you must have seriously slacked to deserve it.

3) Take the course again to upgrade your mark and do your work this time.
It's not possible now. Too much time has passed.

If you'd contacted her right after the class was done, and asked her about changing your grade, it's possible that something may have been able to be done (or not). But it was possible, back then. But even back then, she wouldn't have simply changed your grade without you doing something, like extra credit work. And now it's too late for that.

But know that if you get an A in this stats class now, grad schools will see that. If the rest of your grades are all good, and your GRE is also good, and the rest of your application is on-target, this one D- won't hold you back from grad school.
