How to get my mom to say yes?

I want to go to canada this weekend and my mom is saying no because my grades arent good enough. I have one D the rest are A's and B's. Im good kid. I dont get in trouble at school or drugs. I get along with my parents. How can i get her to say yes to canada.?



By the way I cant change my grade because its the end of the sem.How to get my mom to say yes?

Okay. Tell her to focus on the A's and B's that you got. Tell her that the D, whatever subject it is, you will improve it for next term/semester. Say that if you don't improve it, she could punish you however she wants then. Tell her how important it is to go to Canada. Maybe say you'll buy her something there? Be polite when asking her, and don't forget to actually raise your mark by the time the next report card comes. Ask your teacher for help after class? A tutor?

my mom said she wishes i kill myself and that she wishes she had a miscarriage with me bcoz i had a D too.

Ask your mother, at the end of the school year.
Maybe if you explained to her why you got a d in that class, like if you had a hard time with the teacher or with the subject. Maybe tell her that you will get extra tutoring in the next subject that you struggle with.

Listen to your mom. She's doing what's best for you, not trying to make your life miserable. Perhaps next time the D will be a C or B because you thought of the consequences, and tried harder. Kids shouldn't always get what they want just becuase they want it. Look around at the bratty, loser adults - they were once spoilt children who always got their way.
yes your grades are VERY good. some parents just have this unnoticeable habit of pushing their kids over the limit. in my opinion you do deserve to go. but i wouldn't know how to convince her. show her your report card and ask her what does she not like about it.
explain to her that you understand why she is upset but there is nothing that you can do about it immediately. if she's worried about you getting bad grades in the future, promise to come back from canada and work out a plan: see a tutor, invite over a friend who is good in that subject so you can do your homework together etc. show her that you are acting on this and not just worming out of it to get what you want.
