Does anyone knows how to change my german school grades into american GPA ?

Hello,



Can someone please help me. I want to study in the States next summer , and I have to calculate my GPA. How do I do this ? In germany we have a grading system from 1(very good) to 6 ( really bad) for each classtyp ( like math or biology,.....)

For example a german grade of 2 would be what american grade ( B ?) ?

It depends on the school you wish to attend. Some schools require that you have your transcript evaluated to complete the application process. Some schools have their own evaluation departments which handle the translation of foreign transcripts. So you would have to find out from the school its own process of handling foreign transcripts.Does anyone knows how to change my german school grades into american GPA ?
