How do I change my teacher's mind?

I am just a few credits shy of graduating college with my bachelors. All my grades are good except ONE class that I failed. It is a core education class: biology and I might have to take it AGAIN. I failed with a 67 (D) and all I needed was a 70 to pass. I did bad during that semester cause that class was interfering with my job so I would miss it a lot. I'm very upset about it, but my counselor said I should talk to the biology teacher about changing my grade. She's not a very strict lady, but she's definitley smart.

What should I say to her, should I email her or go to her in person???How do I change my teacher's mind?
Go in person definatly. The best way to go about it is to explain the situation, be totaly honest, don't exagerate or try and make excuses. Also make sure that you know the material. If you can show her that it is important to you and that you really do know the material and you just failed cause you missed to much thanks to work you have a shot. Also don't just go in asking to get your grade bumped to a 70, instead see if there is a way to pick up some extra credit. You may end up having to do a paper or something to get up to a 70 but its a safer way then just trying to get her to change your grade. How do I change my teacher's mind?
Defiantly go in person.
In person,
Go to her in person. Ask her what you need to do in order for her to change your grade. Tell her you're willing to help clean the school's bio labs during the summer.
You should definitely see her in person. Be polite, respectful but decisive. Try to explain that you are trying really hard to work and study at the same time. Maybe she could consider changing your grade on the basis of your not being so much under passing limit.

However, prepare yourself well before talking to her. There is a possibility that she asks you a few questions on the spot.
Talk to her in person because it shows you are serious. Maybe she'll let you re-take the final or give you an assignment to make up the exam!
